Slatwall hooks

For use with our Wall Slatwall Units and Gondola Slatwall Units.

Slatwall displays are a great way of displaying loads of products at eye level in a small retail display area. The versatility of slatwall displays means it can be used like pegboard to display a large range of products but also lends itself to clothing, shoe and other fashion accessories.

The strength of slatwall hooks is dependent on the cross sectional area of the slat hook, which means, a small increase in steel gauge can have a dramatic increase in the cross sectional area. For example 4.8mm gauge wire has nearly double the cross section area of a 3.4mm wire, so it is well worth comparing slat hook gauge before buying hooks.

There are two common designs of slatwall hook, the single prong hook and the looped or Euro hook.

Single Prong Slatwall Hooks – The single prong Slatwall hook is the simplest type of slat hook. The main disadvantage of the single prong hook is the difficulty in displaying pricing information on the slat hook itself, this is less of an issue where the product is already price labelled or in a pound shop for instance where all products may be the same price.

Euro (looped) Slatwall Hooks – Euro slatwall hooks have the advantage that a swinging price tag can be added to the end of the hook.
